High-Precision Engineering for Global Industries
Custom-engineered cold roll forming production lines built for heavy structural steel, architectural profiles, high-load warehouse storage systems, and renewable solar arrays.
German COPRA® FEM Finite Element Analysis Simulation
Behind every heavy-duty roll former from ZHONGYUAN is advanced roll design and engineering simulation. We use COPRA® software to simulate the entire metal forming process beforehand, identifying potential profile stress, tearing, and spring-back issues.
Zero-Trial Integration
Digital design simulation avoids profiling errors, reducing commissioning time on your factory floor.
Optimal Pass Distribution
Calculated number of profiling passes guarantees gradual stress relief in high-tensile material up to 550 MPa.
Built to Outperform in Demanding Sectors
Our heavy cold roll forming machinery converts heavy steel coils into structural elements complying with strict EN, ASTM, and ISO global standards.
High-Load Roofing, Standing Seam & Purlin Systems
Our metal roofing, step tile, standing seam, floor deck, and purlin roll forming lines are designed for industrial building envelopes. These lines produce structural framing profiles that sustain heavy snow and wind loads, making them ideal for high-span industrial warehouses, airport terminals, and transit hubs.
High-Precision Warehouse Racking & Pallet Upright Systems
Engineered for heavy-duty storage, our automated racking roll formers produce warehouse upright columns, step beams, and horizontal panels. The high-precision forming process guarantees precise punching pitch and minimal structural twist, satisfying strict EN 15512 safety codes for automated storage systems (AS/RS).
Heavy-Duty Solar PV Mounting Support & Tracker Rails
To meet the rigid durability demands of utility-scale solar farms, our solar mounting roll forming lines process heavy galvanized steel and advanced Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium (ZAM) alloys. It manufactures C, U, or custom sigma solar posts, tracker torque tubes, and support brackets with precise inline high-speed multi-station punching.
Industrial Coil Slitting & Cut-to-Length Shearing Lines
Engineered for maximum processing efficiency, our heavy slitting lines and cut-to-length shearing systems offer premium leveling, slitting, and stacking accuracy. ZHONGYUAN systems are trusted by steel processing service centers to prepare coil stock for high-volume automated manufacturing.
Continuous Thermal Insulation Sandwich Panel Lines
Designed for modern energy-saving cold storage warehouses, commercial partitioning, and clean room facilities, our double-belt laminating systems feed, shape, and bond prepainted steel coils with polyurethane (PU/PIR) foam or mineral rock wool cores under strict thermal and pressure control.
Technical Parameters & Standard Compliance
Explore material grade details, rolling accuracy, and quality management protocols that satisfy global engineering specifications.
Raw Material Scope & Heavy Processing Capabilities
Our roll formers process heavy structural grade steel alloys without losing dimensional stability or microstructural qualities.
High-Tensile Carbon Steel
Processes structural steel up to Q355B and Q460 (Yield strength 355 to 460 MPa) for heavy warehousing profiles and automated storage racking elements.
Coated Steel Coils
Forms hot-dip galvanized (GI), pre-painted galvanized steel (PPGI), and Galvalume coils (GL) with special coatings without cracking or scratching the protective layer.
Zinc-Alum-Magnesium (ZAM)
Forming parameters are optimized for highly durable ZAM alloy coatings (such as PosMAC and SuperDyma) utilized in long-lasting outdoor solar infrastructure.
Global Structural Codes & Standard Alignments
ZHONGYUAN machinery produces cold-formed profiles that seamlessly meet international construction and structural verification criteria.
| Industrial Application | Target Cold-Formed Standard | Design Verification Criteria |
|---|---|---|
| Racking & Automated Storage | EN 15512, FEM 10.2.02 (Europe) | Deflection limits under high-load pallet load tests |
| Roofing & Metal Cladding | ASTM A653, EN 10346, CE | Corrosion resistance, coating adhesion, structural rigidity |
| Solar Support Posts | AS/NZS 4600, ASTM A123 | Uniform galvanized thickness, tight punch spacing tolerances |
Rigorous Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) Protocol
We believe trust is built on verified performance. Before leaving our assembly facility, every rolling machine undergoes stringent commissioning tests.
COPRA Design Check
Design parameters are matched against actual roller tooling dimensions before grinding.
72-Hour Stress Trial
The roll former runs under loaded profiling stress to test motor drive torque and structural alignment.
3D Laser Profile Inspection
Final profile pieces are scanned to verify the dimensional geometry aligns with your requested CAD drawings.
"In cold-formed roll forming, precision and longevity are closely linked to structural design. By combining German COPRA FEM simulation software with our custom-hardened alloy rollers (Cr12MoV, heat-treated to HRC 58-62), we eliminate profile twist and localized tearing before raw steel even enters our machine. This translates to decades of stable, heavy-duty production on your factory floor."

To prevent scratches on prepainted coil surfaces, we use highly polished roller dies with hard-chrome plating (thickness 0.05mm or more). When forming delicate metal, we utilize high-quality PU coating guides or specialized forming lubricant. Our rollers are simulated via COPRA software to avoid slipping and friction at high line speeds.
Yes, our advanced automated CZ purlin machines are engineered with quick-change mechanical structures. Driven by a PLC control system and linear guideway, size adjustments (from 80mm to 300mm web width) and profile rotation from C to Z shape take under 10 minutes. Operators simply select the pre-programmed sizes on the central touchscreen.
We use premium Cr12 (equivalent to D3) or Cr12MoV (equivalent to D2) die steel for our rollers. The tooling undergoes high-pressure vacuum quenching and heat treatment (reaching a hardness of HRC 58-62). This high surface hardness prevents wear when processing high-strength structural steel or highly abrasive Zinc-Alum-Magnesium alloys.
